Up to $225,000 base salary, plus bonus Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Director of Corporate Physical Security to lead the strategy, operations, technology, and governance of a corporate physical security program. This role will be responsible for protecting people, facilities, assets, and business operations through a combination of security leadership, risk management, vendor oversight, technology administration, and cross-functional partnership. The Director of Corporate Physical Security will oversee enterprise security standards across corporate offices, operational sites, and related facilities. This person will manage security programs involving access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, monitoring platforms, incident response, workplace safety coordination, executive and employee protection considerations, and ongoing security process improvement. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can operate strategically while still understanding the technical and operational details of modern physical security systems. Key Responsibilities Lead the corporate physical security program, including strategy, policies, procedures, standards, technology, and day-to-day operational oversight Develop and maintain security standards for offices, facilities, controlled spaces, visitor management, employee access, and sensitive areas Oversee physical security technology platforms, including enterprise access control systems, video management systems, intrusion detection systems, alarm monitoring tools, and related security infrastructure Partner with facilities, IT, legal, HR, compliance, executive leadership, and external vendors to ensure security programs align with business needs and risk priorities Manage security assessments, site reviews, threat evaluations, and gap analyses across corporate and operational environments Lead security response planning for workplace incidents, facility disruptions, unauthorized access events, theft, safety concerns, and other physical security matters Establish protocols for alarm response, security monitoring, escalation, incident documentation, and post-incident review Oversee vendor relationships, security service providers, integrators, guard force partners, monitoring centers, and technology suppliers Support the selection, implementation, optimization, and lifecycle management of physical security systems Create and improve security policies around badge access, visitor procedures, surveillance, investigations, emergency response, and facility protection Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams on systems integration, identity/access coordination, network-connected security devices, and secure technology deployment Build reporting, metrics, dashboards, and executive updates related to incidents, risk posture, system performance, and program maturity Provide guidance on security considerations for office moves, renovations, new site openings, construction projects, and facility upgrades Support investigations involving workplace incidents, access events, suspicious activity, internal concerns, or external threats Ensure physical security practices align with applicable regulatory, insurance, privacy, and corporate governance requirements Lead, mentor, and develop internal security staff or third-party security resources as the program grows Represent the physical security function as a trusted advisor to leadership and a key partner to the broader business Required Qualifications Significant experience leading corporate physical security programs in a multi-site, enterprise, professional services, financial services, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, or similarly complex environment Strong knowledge of modern physical security operations, risk management, workplace safety, incident response, and security governance Hands-on familiarity with access control platforms, video management systems, intrusion detection technology, alarm systems, monitoring platforms, and related physical security infrastructure Experience managing security vendors, integrators, monitoring providers, guard force partners, and service contracts Ability to evaluate security risks, develop practical mitigation plans, and communicate recommendations to executive leadership Experience building or improving security policies, standards, procedures, reporting, and escalation processes Strong understanding of facility security design, visitor management, access rights, investigations, and emergency response coordination Ability to partner effectively with IT, facilities, HR, legal, compliance, finance, and executive stakeholders Strong leadership, communication, documentation, and decision-making skills Ability to work onsite in Conshohocken, PA as needed Preferred Qualifications CPP, PSP, PCI, APP, or other ASIS International security certifications preferred Additional physical security, investigations, emergency management, risk management, or facility security certifications are a plus Experience implementing or administering enterprise platforms such as LenelS2, Genetec, Software House, Avigilon, Milestone, AMAG, Brivo, Verkada, or similar systems Experience supporting executive protection, travel security, business continuity, crisis management, or threat management programs Background managing security programs across multiple offices, corporate campuses, or geographically dispersed facilities Experience with capital planning, security technology upgrades, RFPs, vendor selection, and contract negotiation Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a senior physical security leader who can build structure, improve security maturity, and oversee both the operational and technology sides of a corporate security program. This person should be comfortable advising executives, managing vendors, improving standards, and ensuring that access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, monitoring, and incident response processes are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business risk.
