Director of Development & Corporate Partnerships Reports to:
Executive Director Status:
Full-time (flexible schedule; some evenings and weekends as needed)
Compensation:
$90,000 to $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Position Summary We are seeking a committed Christian leader who is actively engaged in their church and community to serve as our Director of Development & Corporate Partnerships. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving fundraising strategy, building high-impact partnerships, and generating sustainable revenue to support and expand our mission. The ideal candidate is a proven fundraiser who can confidently lead development efforts, cultivate meaningful relationships, and secure significant financial support. This individual must be both strategic and hands-on , with the ability to deliver measurable results while authentically representing a Christ-centered organization. What You Will Do Fundraising & Revenue Leadership Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals Build, cultivate, and manage a strong donor and sponsor pipeline Secure major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and multi-year commitments Meet or exceed annual revenue targets in partnership with executive leadership Lead individual giving initiatives and donor engagement strategies Corporate & Community Partnerships Develop and steward relationships with corporate partners, foundations, and community leaders Identify and secure new partnership opportunities across the Bay Area Represent Hope Horizon with professionalism and authenticity in external settings Create meaningful engagement opportunities that drive both impact and revenue Grants, Campaigns & Events Lead the development of grant proposals, donor reports, and funding narratives Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns Translate program impact into compelling stories that inspire giving Engage volunteers, sponsors, and community partners in meaningful ways Systems, Strategy & Execution Establish clear fundraising goals, metrics, and reporting systems Maintain CRM systems and ensure accurate donor tracking Analyze performance data to refine strategies and improve outcomes Build scalable systems and processes to support long-term growth Collaboration & Leadership Partner closely with the Executive Director and leadership team Collaborate across program, finance, and communications teams Ensure alignment between mission, messaging, and fundraising efforts Required Qualifications Active involvement in a Christian church community and alignment with Hope Horizon's faith-based mission Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or business development Proven track record of raising at least $1 million through corporate, foundation, and individual giving Demonstrated success securing major gifts and building donor relationships Strong project management and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Preferred Qualifications Experience working with executive leadership and boards Strong network within the Bay Area philanthropic or corporate community Background in nonprofit, education, or social impact organizations Experience leading fundraising campaigns and events Who You Are A faith-driven leader who operates with integrity, humility, and purpose A relationship builder who connects authentically and inspires trust A strategic thinker who executes with excellence and accountability A self-starter who takes initiative and delivers results A professional who represents the organization with confidence and grace Why Join Hope Horizon This is more than a role, it is an opportunity to be part of something meaningful.
