Job Description:
The Director of Field Development is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving field performance, consultant activation, and leadership growth across Jordan Essentials. This position partners closely with the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing to shape and execute initiatives that strengthen the field, increase engagement, and accelerate sustainable growth. Core Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Field Growth Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement innovative sales and field development strategies Identify opportunities to increase activation, retention, and overall field performance Analyze trends and provide insights that inform business decisions and growth initiatives Onboarding & Activation Systems Oversee and evolve the onboarding experience for new consultants, ensuring a clear path to early success Build scalable systems that drive activation, confidence, and retention within the first 30-90 days Align onboarding strategies with broader sales and marketing initiatives Leadership Development & Coaching Coach and develop emerging and established leaders to strengthen team growth and performance Create frameworks that support sponsoring, duplication, and consistent team activity Partner with top leaders to identify opportunities and implement growth strategies within their organizations Training Strategy, Development & Delivery Design and build comprehensive training programs that support onboarding, sales, and leadership development Deliver high-impact training across platforms including virtual, small group, and large-scale events Contribute to event strategy and lead development of training content and presentations Program Development & Execution Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop and execute field programs, incentives, and initiatives Ensure programs are clearly communicated, effectively implemented, and aligned with company goals Evaluate program performance and refine for continuous improvement Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely across departments including Marketing, Customer Support, and Operations to ensure alignment between strategy and field execution Serve as a key bridge between corporate vision and field experience Advocate for field needs while maintaining alignment with company priorities Field Engagement & Influence Build high-trust relationships across the field, establishing credibility through consistent connection and effective training Engage and influence consultants at all levels to drive participation, action, and growth Maintain a strong presence within the field to stay connected to evolving needs and opportunities Qualifications Extensive experience in direct sales, with a strong preference for party plan background Proven success in field development, leadership coaching, and sales strategy Experience developing and delivering high-impact training, including stage presentation Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute and drive measurable results Proficient in Canva and Google Suite Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple departments and functions Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Background in skincare, essential oils, wellness, or a related industry is preferred
