Resort Director of Finance Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business management. MBA preferred 5+ years of experience as a Finance Director for a full-service hotel 3+ years with an independent hotel or hotel with decentralized accounting system Experience creating reports and presentations and delivering directly to ownership Experience with creating PnL reports, Forecasts, and Budgets Excellent communication and project management skills Excellent and proven abilities with financial analysis

Resort Director of Finance Responsibilities:

Oversee all finance and accounting for the business entity Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting including month and year-end Ensure proper payment of taxes Manage cash flow proactively Develop and implement financial systems and processes to effectively manage all finances Create reports through analysis that will help guide ownership and leadership in decision-making processes
