Full-time Director of Grants & Compliance Position Summary:
The Director of Grants & Compliance at Renaye James Healthcare Advisors, LLC, provides strategic oversight for all grant administration and compliance processes related to federally funded and privately supported programs. This role ensures full adherence to Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), supports procurement and contracting workflows, and monitors internal controls to meet audit and funder requirements. The Director manages contractor onboarding, vendor file readiness, and grant reporting systems, and serves as the organization's subject matter expert on grant compliance and risk mitigation.
Supervision :
This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer. This position does not supervise any staff member. Key Responsibilities Grant Compliance & Reporting
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with all federal, state, and private grant requirements
  • Serve as internal lead on 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance and indirect cost rate applications
  • Prepare or review all performance and financial reporting in collaboration with Controller or designee, and the Chief Operating Officer
  • Maintain documentation and audit readiness across programs Contract Management & Procurement Oversee the full lifecycle of vendor/contractor agreements, including: Onboarding (W-9s, Certificates of Insurance, scopes, signed agreements) Deliverable tracking and file completeness Ensuring proper procurement thresholds and justifications Collaborate with COO and Controller on risk mitigation and vendor compliance Systems & Documentation • Manage federal compliance trackers (FFATA, SAM.
gov, accessibility, etc.)
  • Work closely with Controller to align expense documentation and grant drawdowns
  • Lead internal file audits to ensure contract and grant readiness
  • Contribute to policy and SOP development for grant and vendor processes Collaboration & Communication
  • Train program and administrative staff on compliance-related processes
  • Liaise with funder program officers as needed
  • Coordinate with human resources or designee to avoid overlap in onboarding (W2 vs 1099)
Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in public administration, finance, or related field (Master's preferred); 5+ years of experience managing federal grants. Deep knowledge of 2 CFR 200, procurement policies, and subrecipient monitoring. Experience managing contract workflows and compliance file readiness. Excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and attention to detail.
Travel :
Up to 10%. Work hours : Full-time, M-F.
Location :
In Person and Hybrid per leadership discretion.
