JOB SUMMARY
Sapphire Health Services is seeking a Director of Health Services (RN)/Wellness Director (RN) to lead our clinical department. In this role you will collaborate closely with the Executive Director to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents. The Director of Health Services will oversee and conduct assessments, develop care plans, coordinate resident care, and provide leadership and education to our committed Health Services team. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in Oregon laws and regulations and have a strong background working in Community Based Care settings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement new procedures and protocols as needed to enhance resident care Train, supervise, lead, and motivate the Health Services team to deliver compassionate comprehensive care The Director of Health Services (RN) will assist clinical staff in identifying changes in resident condition and provide appropriate interventions Communicate with residents, staff, family members, etc. as needed Maintain effective communication with residents, families, staff, etc. Utilize standard precaution knowledge and infection control measures where required Knowledge of and ability to conform to the applicable Oregon law, rules and regulations Oversee nurse delegation Conduct follow-up assessments for residents that have had a change in condition or chronic skin issue Other Duties as Assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Active Oregon RN License Proven experience in Community Based Care settings Proficiency in Oregon laws and regulations pertaining to healthcare Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team Excellent communications and interpersonal abilities Commitment to providing compassionate and quality care to our residents
