Oakhurst Health & Rehab is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Director to lead our housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. This leadership role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, building strong teams, and ensuring residents experience a comfortable, well-maintained environment every day. What You'll Do Lead and oversee the Environmental Services Department, including housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently maintained throughout the facility Develop and manage cleaning schedules, preventative maintenance programs, and infection control procedures Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations Manage departmental budgets, inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships effectively Recruit, train, mentor, and support departmental staff while promoting accountability and teamwork Collaborate with nursing leadership and facility administration to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff Respond promptly to environmental or maintenance concerns to support resident satisfaction and quality outcomes Qualifications Previous Environmental Services, Housekeeping, or Maintenance leadership experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting required Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Knowledge of infection prevention practices, sanitation standards, and regulatory compliance in long-term care environments Ability to multitask and manage operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting Commitment to resident-centered care and maintaining a positive team culture Why Join Oakhurst Health & Rehab?
