Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing care within our facility. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery
  • Develop and implement care plans for patients based on their individual needs
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate medical records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare guidelines
  • Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for nursing staff
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in nursing administration
Requirements:
  • Valid registered nurse license in the state of Missouri
  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in nursing administration or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, skilled care, and nursing practices
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Medicare regulations and requirements
