Day shift | On‑call as required Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee all clinical and nursing operations at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Illinois. The DON is responsible for delivering high‑quality resident care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing strong leadership to the nursing department. Essential Responsibilities Direct, plan, and manage all nursing services in accordance with state and federal regulations Ensure compliance with IDPH , CMS, and long‑term care regulations Lead and supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and nursing leadership staff Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality initiatives Oversee infection control, quality assurance, and performance improvement programs Participate in survey preparedness, response, and plan of correction activities Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to meet clinical and operational goals Qualifications Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required Minimum 1-3 years of nursing leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long‑Term Care setting Prior Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant DON experience strongly preferred In‑depth knowledge of Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) regulations and CMS surveys Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
