Job Description
Full Time Director of Nursing opportunity available with a growing Healthcare organization in Western Pennsylvania. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct and supervise all nursing staff and nursing operations within the facility Ensure quality resident care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory standards Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations Monitor clinical systems, infection control practices, and quality assurance initiatives Oversee staffing schedules to ensure adequate nursing coverage and operational efficiency Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing personnel Promote employee engagement, accountability, and professional development Participate in survey preparation and respond to regulatory surveys as needed Review incidents, concerns, and resident outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff regarding care and clinical concerns Assist with budgeting, supply management, and cost control initiatives Ensure accurate clinical documentation and timely completion of assessments Support admission processes and clinical evaluations for prospective residents Serve as a role model for professionalism, leadership, and resident-centered care Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred Prior Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience preferred Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, survey process, and clinical compliance standards Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and reimbursement systems preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to effectively manage staff performance and clinical operations CPR certification preferred Competitive salary will be offered and medical, dental and vision are effective the first of the month following date of hire.
