Full-time Full-time Ideal Candidate:
A hands-on clinical leader with strong SNF experience who excels in driving quality outcomes, maintaining survey readiness, and building high-performing nursing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Position Summary:
The Director of Nursing is responsible for leading and overseeing all clinical and nursing operations within a skilled nursing environment. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong clinical outcomes while fostering a supportive and accountable team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and manage all nursing services, including staffing, scheduling, and staff performance Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure compliance with SNF regulations and standards of care Ensure accurate care planning, clinical documentation, and medication administration Lead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives Monitor clinical outcomes, audits, and survey readiness Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care Participate in budgeting, staffing plans, and operational oversight
Qualifications & Key Skills:
Active, unencumbered RN license 3+ years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting Strong knowledge of SNF regulations, survey processes, and clinical compliance Experience with QAPI, infection control, and regulatory readiness Proven leadership, staff development, and team management skills Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems)
