Responsibilities:

Oversee all nursing department operations and clinical services Lead and support nursing managers, supervisors, and frontline staff Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations Maintain survey readiness and drive quality improvement initiatives Monitor clinical outcomes, staffing performance, and resident care standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary leadership teams Support infection prevention, risk management, and policy implementation Foster a positive clinical culture centered on accountability and teamwork Assist with recruitment, retention, and development of nursing staff Director of Nursing (DON)

Qualifications:

Active RN license in Maryland Prior experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in skilled nursing preferred Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey process Proven leadership experience within post-acute or long-term care Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to lead teams while driving clinical and operational success
