$138,258.29 - $195,187.61 per year Sign-on bonus: up to $20,000.00 How you'll make an impact in this role Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for Surgical Services. Develop departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives. Prepare budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding. Coordinate and direct internal/external audits. Direct and evaluate all clinical activities, including care plan development, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives. Work collaboratively with physicians, administration and directors to develop streamlined operations where equipment, supplies and staff are utilized efficiently and resourcefully. Remove obstacles to achieving clinical quality, service excellence and financial effectiveness targets. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification /

Registration:

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.

Work Experience:

5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred What additional requirements you'll need Demonstrated success in strategic leadership and managing large OR or perioperative service lines. Experience in budget oversight, financial stewardship, staffing and scheduling optimization, productivity management, quality improvement, throughput management, and strategic performance metrics.
