In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of nursing operations across ambulatory surgery center settings. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and fostering a positive, motivated team environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives through innovative care management and strategic oversight. Duties Provide visionary leadership for nursing staff across multiple care settings, ensuring optimal patient care and staff engagement. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs, utilizing your deep knowledge of physiology and anatomy. Oversee the management of medical records, documentation review, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect resident privacy. Supervise the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and efficient workflow. Coordinate shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels while maintaining high standards of care delivery. Review and approve medical records, medication administration records (MARs), and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with Medicare requirements. Lead nursing administration activities including staff supervision, performance evaluations, training, team building, and fostering leadership within your team. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans that meet patients' physical health needs and emotional well-being. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to ambulatory surgery center, Medicare guidelines, and HIPAA privacy rules. Conduct regular audits of medical records and documentation to uphold quality standards and accuracy in ambulatory surgery center documentation. Requirements Proven experience in ambulatory surgery center with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Supervising or management experience within an ambulatory surgery center setting is essential; prior nurse management or nursing administration roles preferred. Comprehensive understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and Medicare guidelines. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while fostering a culture of compassionate resident-centered care. Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments with professionalism and attention to detail in documentation review. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, patients, and patient families, healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and team members.
Pay:
$111,488.68 - $150,000.00 per year
