As a Director of Social Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the social services department, including staff management, program development, and resident care planning. Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team of social workers, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure excellent resident care and services Develop and implement program plans to meet the social, emotional, and psychological needs of residents and their families Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide counseling and support services to residents and their families Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive resident care and services Identify and address gaps in services, making recommendations for improvement Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, and regulatory changes, making adjustments to programs and services as needed

Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work (LMSW) or related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work, preferably in a long-term care setting Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing a team of social workers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and F2260
