Job Description
Build the systems that set people—and patients—up for success. At Valley View Health Center, our mission is simple and powerful: improving health and wellbeing in our communities. Behind that mission is a team of dedicated professionals who rely on strong onboarding, consistent training, and clear expectations to do their best work every day. We are seeking a Director of Training & Workforce Development to build, lead, and continuously improve how training happens across our organization. This is not a traditional training role. You won't be the primary facilitator. Instead, you will create the structure, systems, and accountability that ensure training is done well—every time, across every role, all while rolling up your sleeves to provide support! If you are someone who sees inconsistency and immediately thinks, "we can build a better system for this," this role is for you.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in training program management, operations, or workforce development in a corporate environment
- Proven ability to build structure, systems, and scalable processes
- Experience leading teams and driving accountability through others
- Strong program and project management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
- Analytical mindset—comfortable using data to drive decisions
- Strong communication and organizational skills Healthcare experience is extremely helpful but not required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Build Structure & Drive Consistency, Lead Through Others, Own the Training Engine (Not the Classroom), Strengthen Workforce Pipelines (Apprenticeships/Externships), Drive Improvement Through Data, Partner Across the Organization This is a high-impact, highly visible role with a dual reporting relationship to both the Chief Operations Officer and the Chief Human Resources Officer. The work you do will directly impact:- Employee experience
- Operational efficiency
- Patient care quality You will help build the foundation that allows our teams to thrive—and our patients to receive the outstanding care they deserve.
