Job Description
Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is searching for a high-impact Director, Regional Sales to join our team! The Director, Regional Sales will be responsible for leading a team of SMB Account Executives and ensuring the achievement of regional sales targets for the company. This role is critical to the organization, and is ideal for a leader who knows how to drive performance, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. Specifically, the Director, Regional Sales will be expected to build, lead, and develop a team selling new business into local or regional contractors in the commercial construction industry. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Sales.
- _Location_
- For this remote position, candidates must be based in the United States Eastern time zone to support their team within the assigned territory.
- _Travel Requirements_
- Expected travel is 10% for this role.
- _Core Responsibilities_
- + Drive results
- own regional performance metrics, including revenue growth and team productivity + Lead by example
- provide hands-on leadership
- from coaching to working side by side with Account Executives to close deals, while maintaining a culture of trust, professionalism and ethical behavior. + Develop talent
- Recruit, hire, and develop a winning sales team with high standards that deliver results + Own the outcome
- take full accountability for the success of the region. Use metrics and data to hold team accountable to defined goals and drive strong outcomes to consistently deliver revenue targets + Deep dive into pipeline and forecast
- weekly inspection of pipeline health, deal progression and forecast accuracy though 1:1 meetings with account executives.
- _Education Requirement_
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience.
- _Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills_
- + 7-10+ years of relevant sales experience, software/SaaS preferred + 3+ years of experience leading high performing sales team with a proven track record of success + Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce + Knowledge of the commercial construction market and its business practices, a plus + Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales talent + Must be a high-energy, ambitious, client-centric team player with a positive attitude + Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment + Possess superior personal integrity and exceptional communication skills •_About Dodge Construction Network_•Dodge Construction Network exists to deliver the comprehensive data and connections the construction industry needs to build thriving communities.
- _Salary Disclosure_
- Dodge Construction Network's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped variable incentive plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
