Disc Plant Production Machinists 2nd & 3rd Shift

Responsibilities include:

Multitask in a fast pace physically demanding environment Maintain a safe work environment Support 5S Standards Ensure correct gauges are available, operational, and used as required Read, understand, and interpret gauges results Understand basic blueprint reading Strive to attain daily production and scrap goals With minimum or no Operations Technician's assistance, be able to problem-solve basic and most frequent technical issues (PD's, BP THK, LL, LRO's TVs, NCU) that arise from day-to-day variation of the inputs involved in running the manufacturing lines. Examples of these skills include but are not limited to:

• Stock removal verification and adjustment through wear offsets
• Straddle Tools setup
• Chatter pin replacement
• Maintain performance of blow-offs Demagnetize locators
• Speeds and feeds verification on CNCs
• Speeds verification on Robots
• Touch off drill bodies
• Change drill and balance collets
• Removal curve and balancer compensation
• Maintain stamp legibility and accuracy
• Hone, shot-blast, and grinder setup excluding grind lines
• Chucks Indication
• Maintain automation sensors
• Conveyor guide rails, pedestal's part stops adjustment

Requirements:

High School Diploma or G.E.D Ability to read, write, and comprehend English and blueprints Ability to pass background and drug screen

Work Conditions:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds as well as standing, bending and twisting. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed work boots.
