Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by regularly sweeping and mopping. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping with basic culinary duties. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working condition. Help organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and catering services is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
