Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all items are organized and stored properly. Assist with food preparation as needed, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Support banquet operations by ensuring all service items are clean and ready for events. Bus tables and assist with clearing dishes from dining areas to maintain a tidy environment. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times. Report any maintenance or repair needs for kitchen equipment to management promptly. Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Previous experience in bussing, catering, or banquet services is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on maintaining a hygienic kitchen space. Culinary experience or training is advantageous but not required. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
