Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients under supervision. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all dishware and serving items are clean and ready for use. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service times to support seamless food service flow. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes and utensils for restaurant or hotel operations. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and kitchen sanitation standards. Experience with catering or banquet setups adds value but is not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling safety practices is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
