Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently and thoroughly. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed. Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing areas, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety standards. Bypass or troubleshoot dishwashing machinery as necessary to ensure continuous operation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food handling procedures and uphold sanitation protocols. Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to promote a hygienic environment. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued. Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices is beneficial for maintaining safety standards. Prior kitchen experience involving cooking or food service roles can provide a strong foundation for this position.
