Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This essential role supports the entire restaurant by maintaining cleanliness and organization in both the kitchen and dining areas. You'll play a vital part in keeping our kitchen running smoothly while ensuring all equipment meets health and safety standards. This position also comes with the opportunity to advance into other roles within the restaurant, including prep cook, line cook, or front-of-house positions, for team members who show initiative and dedication. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area; properly store cleaned items Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed Help with bussing tables and supporting catering events when required Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained per health regulations Support kitchen staff by keeping work areas safe, organized, and free of clutter Report shortages or damaged items promptly to help with inventory management Follow all food handling and sanitation safety protocols Qualifications No prior experience required — we provide training (restaurant or catering experience is a plus) Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation standards preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($12.48 - $14.00 per hour) Flexible scheduling Staff meals/discounts Growth opportunities into other positions in the restaurant
