Duties Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supporting culinary staff during busy service periods. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy and ready for guests. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, storage areas, and dining spaces to promote a safe environment. Aid in setting up catering events or banquet functions by providing necessary dishware and assisting with setup. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes and smooth workflow during peak hours. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures, food handling practices, and kitchen safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy items or moving carts. Experience with bussing, food preparation, or banquet service is a plus. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude; willingness to support various roles within the kitchen and dining areas. Knowledge of culinary or hotel operations can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
