Dishwasher/Busser

Duties:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Sweep or scrub floors.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
• Assist with food preparation and plating when needed.

Skills:

• Customer service: Ability to provide friendly and efficient service to guests.
• Food industry knowledge: Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
• Restaurant experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant setting is preferred.

• Helpfulness:

  Willingness to assist coworkers and take on additional tasks as needed.
• Food service skills: Ability to handle food and beverages safely and efficiently.
• Hospitality mindset: Understanding the importance of creating a positive dining experience for guests.
• Cleaning skills: Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Catering experience: Familiarity with catering operations is a plus.
• Bussing skills: Ability to clear tables quickly and efficiently while maintaining a clean dining area.
• Communication skills: Effective communication with coworkers and supervisors.
