Dishwasher/Food Prep

Responsibilities Thoroughly wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques to meet health standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks. Maintain cleanliness of all work areas, including countertops, sinks, floors, and storage spaces, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. Support catering and banquet events by providing timely food prep assistance and ensuring all serving ware is ready for service. Handle food items safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to hygiene protocols. Restock supplies as needed, including dishware, utensils, and cleaning products to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Collaborate with team members across the restaurant or hotel environment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and service quality. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing tables or basic food prep tasks, is a plus. Experience working in banquet or catering environments can be advantageous for supporting large events. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and kitchen sanitation practices is beneficial.
