Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and culinary staff. Support catering and banquet events by preparing necessary food items and ensuring timely setup and cleanup. Buss tables efficiently during service hours to keep dining areas clean, organized, and inviting for guests. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all prepared items. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant or hotel operations during busy service periods. Adhere to sanitation guidelines, including cleaning schedules, waste disposal, and maintaining a hygienic work environment. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of basic food handling practices and safety protocols. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy trays or equipment. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail-oriented work habits. Experience with bussing tables, food prep, or catering is a plus; banquet experience is especially valued. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations and guest satisfaction. Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
