Responsibilities Maintain a clean and sanitized dishwashing station, ensuring all utensils, cookware, and dishware are spotless and ready for use. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items to support chefs and kitchen staff. Support catering and banquet events by preparing necessary food items and ensuring timely setup and cleanup. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times. Help with general cleaning duties within the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold health regulations. Buss tables and assist with serving guests when needed, contributing to smooth restaurant or event service flow. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service hours. Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued! Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as cleaning dishes, food prep, or assisting in catering settings is advantageous. Ability to follow safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation standards. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude; adaptability in fast-paced environments is essential.
