Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies for service. Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and ensuring all workspaces meet health regulations. Buss tables during service hours to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food-related activities. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support overall food service operations in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of basic food handling safety standards and cleaning procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy pots or moving supplies. Experience with food preparation or catering is a plus; familiarity with banquet or hotel environments is advantageous. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations. Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and cleaning tools; willingness to follow safety protocols. Previous serving or bussing experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
