Job Overview We're looking for an energetic and reliable Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our bustling kitchen. This role is essential in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring dishes are clean, ingredients are prepped, and the environment stays hygienic. Duties Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies for service. Support banquet and catering events by preparing ingredients and ensuring all items meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, floors, and storage spaces, following health regulations. Help with food handling duties to ensure proper storage and safety of ingredients used in daily operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of meals. Follow all safety protocols to create a safe working environment for everyone. Skills Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is key! Basic knowledge of food handling, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during peak hours. Familiarity with food prep tasks such as chopping or portioning is beneficial but not mandatory—training will be provided! Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work collaboratively with the team.
