Duties Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment thoroughly using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, food prep areas, and dining spaces by regularly sanitizing surfaces and equipment. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, or portioning supplies to support culinary staff. Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service. Buse tables and clear dining areas promptly to ensure a welcoming environment for guests. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Assist in maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies and food prep materials. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as cleaning, food handling, or food preparation. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy trays or containers. Strong attention to detail when cleaning and maintaining sanitation standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during busy shifts. Knowledge of safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation practices. Experience with banquet or hotel kitchens is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
