You will support culinary staff by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas are spotless and ready for service, while also assisting with food preparation tasks. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability during service hours Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning items according to kitchen standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including countertops, sinks, floors, and storage areas Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring food handling procedures are followed Busing tables and clearing dining areas efficiently to support smooth service flow Follow proper food handling and safety protocols at all times to uphold health standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of prepared foods and maintain an organized workspace Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Experience with food preparation or catering is a plus Familiarity with cleaning procedures within a commercial kitchen setting is advantageous Knowledge of basic culinary techniques or hotel/banquet experience can enhance your effectiveness in this role Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments Ability to follow safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation standards This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in hospitality while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
