Dishwasher/Helper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential in supporting our food preparation and service operations within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans following health and safety regulations. Operate dishwashing machinery efficiently while adhering to operational guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and storage spaces. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and organizing kitchen supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Dispose of waste properly and assist with recycling efforts in the kitchen. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Experience Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting will be beneficial for understanding fast-paced workflows. A willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations is essential. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff are important for success in this role.
