Job Description

Holly Tree is a full-service private club offering exceptional amenities to please every member of the family, as well as a Wedding and Event venue with full-service in-house kitchen to provide the best possible food and drink options to the Members and Guests. Dishwasher / prep cook is a key member of the culinary team
  • responsible for cleaning and storage of dishes, equipment and smallware's for the kitchen and are assigned small tasks to assist prep tasks for the team as necessary.
The Prep Cook / Dishwasher acts in compliance with all health and safety regulations by ensuring adherence to all sanitary, food safe and dish handling guidelines at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
INCLUDE, but are not limited to Dishwasher/ Prep Cook
  • Ensure consistently clean and sanitized dishes, equipment and smallware's.
  • Ensure cleanliness is maintained in the various kitchen areas; including all operating equipment refrigerators and storerooms.
  • Ensure that refrigerators and storerooms are organized and cleaned in the various kitchen areas on a daily basis.
  • Aid in the transportation and storage of all dishes, equipment, and smallwares, to be sure it is arranged and organized well.
  • Strive to uphold a safe working environment and be Health and Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining and improving a safe work environment.
  • Communicate well with all team members.
  • Carry out other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
  • Daily preparation of foods in a timely manner.
  • Works with other culinary team members to assist where needed.
  • Restocks and prepares food items throughout the shift.
  • Prep food for events, grill, and fine dining.
  • Cleans and maintains proper food safe and sanitary standards.
  • Receives and assists putting away all deliveries.
  • Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specs.
  • Highschool education
  • Food certification preferred
  • Ability to exert physical effort in transporting equipment and wares.
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements in carrying out job duties.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Must be a team player that works well with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Open to feedback
  • Ability to learn basic food handling and sanitation standards
  • Effective decision-making skills
  • Positive attitude and a consistent display of professionalism
  • Good hygiene, detail oriented, and safety/sanitation orientated

Pay:
$14.00
