Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure readiness for service Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients under supervision Support catering and banquet setups by bussing tables, clearing plates, and ensuring service areas remain tidy Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas through regular cleaning routines including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food service operations during busy periods Ensure all cleaning supplies and dishwashing equipment are well-maintained and stocked for daily use Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as bussing tables or assisting with food prep is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting heavy trays or containers Strong attention to cleanliness, safety standards, and detail-oriented work ethic Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous Prior banquet or catering experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory Embark on a rewarding journey supporting our culinary team!
