Job Description
The Dispatch Manager leads and manages the day-to-day operation of multiple operations/locations, while providing frequent and efficient communication with customers, drivers, and leadership.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmCompensation:
$68,000-$75,000/yearEssential Duties:
Lead and manage multiple dispatch offices/operations to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner. Ensure team members have the proper resources, training and tools to execute their job. Address escalated question and resolve complex issues as they arise in a timely manner. Coach the team for improved productivity. Setting clear expectations. Assist with preparing and dispatching orders to the carrier. Utilization of KPI's to drive results for the business. Communicate with customers in a timely and effective manner via phone and email. Personal responsibility to manage change.Qualifications:
This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have at least five years of experience in customer service. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Previous logistics experience preferred.Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other general office equipment. Working knowledge of Zendesk is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to proactively research and resolve problems. Strong leadership skills Ability to prioritize and organize effectively. Critical thinking with exceptional attention to detail.
