Job Summary:
As our Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative, you are the face and voice of BK Tech Contractor. You will manage incoming service calls, build strong customer relationships, and maximize the efficiency of our service technicians. No prior industry experience is required—we are fully prepared to train the right candidate who brings a great attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
Core Responsibilities:
Customer Support & Booking:
Answer inbound calls with a warm, helpful attitude. Answer customer questions, address concerns, and schedule maintenance, repair, or installation appointments.
Strategic Dispatching:
Coordinate and route service technicians across the DC Metro Area based on job priority and geography to minimize travel times and keep our daily operations running smoothly.
Technician Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact for field technicians. Monitor their progress throughout the day, update customers on arrival windows, and clear any logistical roadblocks.
Data & System Management:
Accurately log customer details, equipment history, and dispatch notes within our primary management software systems.
Follow-Up Support:
Contact existing clients to schedule seasonal maintenance updates, follow up on open requests, and ensure customers are highly satisfied with our work.
Qualifications:
Language Requirements:
Must be fluent in Korean and English (both verbal and written) to effectively serve and communicate with our diverse client base and team.
Experience Level:
No prior HVAC experience needed. We will fully train you on our systems and industry terminology.
Software Skills:
General tech-savviness and comfort learning specialized scheduling programs. Direct experience with Payzerware or OnCall Air software is a major plus, but not required.
Local Knowledge:
Familiarity with the DC Metro Area geography (including Northern Virginia corridors) to help effectively coordinate tech routing.
Communication Skills:
Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent active listening skills to handle occasionally urgent customer situations.
Work Ethic:
A highly organized self-starter who thrives in a dynamic office environment and values working with a family-owned local business.
