Job Description

Job Brief Engage with customers and customers facing employees to schedule and document product deliveries to customers and the transport of goods between facilities. Operate auxiliary equipment in support of equipment operators, including forklifts and winches. What You'll Do As the Dispatcher, you will engage with customers and customers facing employees to schedule and document product deliveries to customers and the transport of goods between facilities. You will be responsible for providing oversight to daily operations of drivers and operators.
Other duties include:
Provides accurate and timely documentation for shipping and receiving of goods. Ensures compliance to ATF regulatory law and ensures accurate inventory of explosives. Operate auxiliary equipment and assist equipment operators and blasters in the maintenance of all equipment and the loading, mixing, unloading, and preparation of explosive products for the customer in a safe, timely and efficient manner. You will be assisting site manager with daily maintenance at the site, cleaning shop, cleaning office, weed eating and other maintenance tasks.
Other duties will include:
Operate auxiliary equipment in support of equipment operators, including forklifts, winches, and hand tools in order to provide timely, safe, and quality service and product to the customer. Perform basic maintenance of assigned vehicles in order assure its reliability and safe operation. Read gauges and make adjustments to equipment to maintain proper performance in order to Assist Equipment Operators and Blasters at blast site in order to safely serve the customer. Provides accurate and timely documentation for shipping and receiving of goods. Knowledgeable of, and comply with applicable DOT, OSHA, MSHA, EPA and BATFE. Ability to work accurately with numbers and perform simple mathematical calculations. Proactively handle safety issues and practice Take 5! process by using the HAT tool to promote personal responsibility for safety. Maintain safe working conditions and assure that all crew members and others on the site follow all safety and regulatory procedures and practices to ensure a safe and successful event.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Class A CDL with Air Brakes, Tanker, and Hazmat endorsements Prior manual labor experience preferred. Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives. Good record keeping and reporting skills. Mon-Fri 8-4:30pm Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to communicate in writing and verbally. Must be at least 21 years of age.
