Dispatcher / Plant Operations Manager

Job Summary RDMAC is seeking a highly organized and motivated Dispatcher / Plant Operations Manager to join our team. This role is critical to daily operations and requires someone who can balance logistics, communication, and team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and dispatch concrete deliveries efficiently and accurately Batch concrete according to mix designs and job specifications Take and process customer orders while providing excellent service Manage and oversee a team of drivers, including scheduling and daily direction Communicate with contractors, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet demand Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and plant activity Assist with troubleshooting and basic operational issues at the batch plant

Qualifications:

Strong computer skills and ability to learn dispatch/batching systems Proven customer service experience Solid understanding of basic algebra and problem-solving Prior management or leadership experience Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred (but not required): Experience with concrete batching or batch plant operations Background in mechanical systems or automation Knowledge of the construction or ready-mix industry

$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
