What you will do Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with federal and state regulations, company policies, and quality standards. Review and verify prescriptions for dosage accuracy, potential interactions, and contraindications based on patient-specific factors. Provide oversight, guidance, and quality assurance for pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate preparation and packaging of medications. Maintain complete and compliant documentation for prescriptions, inventory, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacy leadership, and team members to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes. Participate in audits, process improvements, and continuous quality initiatives to enhance pharmacy workflows and ensure patient safety. What we look for
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted
Pharmacist License Certifications:
Eligibility to participate in federal prescription programs (Medicare, Medicaid) Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment Experience in a high-volume community, mail order, or fulfillment pharmacy
Skills:
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Technical Proficiency:
