Job Summary:
Monitors inventory control to ensure optimal inventory levels. Performs daily cycle-count activities including root cause analysis and suggests corrective actions as needed. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies Supervisor of irregularities. Prepare and submit inventory control reports as needed. Responds to inquiries regarding products and product stock levels. Primary Responsibilities Cycle count raw materials, package materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials on a daily basisUtilize E10 software to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity and past activityEnsure materials are in proper locations, conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventoryOpen cartons, bundles and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Weigh and mark/label product to display remaining product availableReport discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision, publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory metricsCommunicate and develop process enhancements as needed, recommending process improvements to eliminate inventory discrepanciesAbides by all established organizational policies, rules and regulationsPerforms other related duties as assigned
Experience:
Inventory control, cycle counting, order picker experience Experience with Epicor desired but not requiredMinimum 3 years experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing settingWorking knowledge and proficiency using a computer and related Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to communicate clearly and efficientlyTeam player Skills/Requirements Strong interpersonal communication skillsWell organized and detail orientedForklift certifiedAbility to use mathematical functions to calculate weightsMulti-task efficientlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookKnowledge of Epicor a plusForklift certified, or ability to become certified
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required Associates Degree preferred
