Distribution Center Manager

The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for ensuring product quality enabling the organization to live up to its high-quality standards. The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for managing the distribution center team and cost efficiently maximize the shipping, receiving, storage and overall performance of the location. Duties and responsibilities The Distribution Center Manager is expected to efficiently manage product quality and the associated factors through the following duties and responsibilities: Effectively and efficiently inspect the quality and condition of materials to ensure company standards are upheld Pulls and picks orders to fill customer needs Packs, tags, and sorts material in order to ensure organization Performs cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory data Ships and receives materials Processes returns and associated paperwork Ability to operate and maintain all vehicles, lift equipment and tools necessary for Distribution Center Adhere to and uphold company rules and policies including FMCSA, DOT, and safety regulations Handles material to occasionally assist team as needed Communicate with team, production staff, and management of any lean initiatives, waste identification, and process improvements Assist in identifying and establishing product specifications in order to provide customers and suppliers with accurate information regarding materials Manages and mentors all employees at the corresponding location

$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
