Immediately Job Description The Purpose of the District SIT Team members goal is to monitor and evaluate the progress towards our District Improvement plan.

Roles:

A composition of Pre-K-5th Grade Level Leaders, Curriculum Leaders of each department 6-12, experts in Assessment, MTSS, Whole Child, Pre-K-12 Elective Educators, and Pre-K-12 Special Education Educators. Primary Role:

Serve as a leader and FAME coach for specified grade level or department. Act as a support liaison for continuous improvement in curriculum, instruction and assessment in the designated area.

High School Instructional Leader Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Attend four District Improvement Meetings per year in order to assist with monitoring and communicating progress with the plan. Plan, coordinate, conduct and communicate the results and/or learning of District Continuous Improvement Meetings back in your individual building during Tuesday/Wednesday meetings as assigned. Participate in monthly FAME team planning meetings with other District Continuous Improvement Chairs. You will collaborate and learn with other teacher leaders. You will also create an agenda to lead discussion and learning about the Formative Assessment Process in your grade level and/or content teams. Plan and facilitate meetings with grade level or department members sharing strategies to improve instruction and review student data in alignment with FAME focus. Assist with the planning and facilitation of vertical meetings as applicable. (It is anticipated that vertical meetings will take place during specified monthly meetings and/or PD opportunities). Support from Curriculum & Instruction and Special Education. Other duties as assigned.
