Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Division Buyer to manage procurement activities across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain management to ensure seamless operations. Duties Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational objectives Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations and ongoing communication Collaborate with production planning, merchandising, and procurement teams to align purchasing activities with company goals. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials Monitor pricing trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly to optimize costs. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information within procurement systems. Qualifications Strong knowledge of materials management, MRP, inventory management, supply chain management, and logistics. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers Familiarity with procurement processes including sourcing, purchasing, pricing strategies, and production planning. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to supply chain performance. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and negotiating with suppliers. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred but not mandatory depending on experience. This role is essential for maintaining operational excellence through strategic sourcing and effective supply chain management.
