  • Full-time Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dock Staff member, where your expierance will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient building of Wahoo docks and working on service calls at Tims Ford Lake.
This energetic position involves handling , assisting with loading and unloading vessels, and maintaining safety standards across the dock area. Your mechanical expierance and knowledge and rigging skills will be essential in supporting equipment setup, securing cargo, and troubleshooting operational issues. Responsibilities Assist with the safe loading and unloading of cargo from ships, trucks, or containers using appropriate rigging techniques Operate and maintain dock equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and hoists with precision and safety awareness Conduct inspections of cargo for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly Secure cargo using rigging tools and techniques to ensure stability during transit or storage Support mechanical tasks related to dock operations, including minor repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing protective gear and adhering to safety procedures at all times Maintain accurate records of cargo movements, inspections, and equipment usage for operational tracking Skills Proven experience in rigging techniques for cargo handling and securing loads Strong mechanical knowledge related to dock equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and hoists Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in a busy environment Excellent attention to detail for inspecting cargo and equipment condition Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement in operational procedures Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible impact every day!
