U.S. Citizenship required Summary/Objective Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. Essential Functions Works independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problems Continuously oversee, monitor, and track IT contract(s) for cost, schedule, and performance; and provide monthly metrics and status Provide expert support to government contracting representatives for associate contractors in the execution and administration of new project and baseline task Develop descriptive tasking language and assist with government cost estimates Assist with government technical evaluations and recommendations to the Contracting Officer Participate in weekly meetings and customer requirements meetings to prepare and submit bi-weekly reports Assist with developing, documenting, and implementing improved IT efficiencies Assist with reviewing, editing, and completing Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) associated with various DoD contracts Identify trends or other issues that may require special consideration or procedures Prepare briefings, white papers, information papers, recommendations, governance metrics, and policy assessments Provide expert assistance with quality assurance of the associate contractor's execution of their contracted tasks Advise and assist the government to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the MDA Office of the CIO in the delivery of IT solutions to the Agency Submit for and track status of DoD approvals required for new contract efforts
Required Education and Experience Education:
Bachelors' Degree in a field pertinent to position from an accredited institution plus 4 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects Acceptable alternative: 8 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / projects Capable of working independently and / or participating on sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems
