Come grow with us and help build the future of Camp 4 Paws. •Additional Responsibilities & Requirements Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each pet's specific needs and breed standards Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each dog's coat condition and skin health, providing recommendations for ongoing care or medical attention when necessary Maintain a clean, organized grooming area by sanitizing tools and workspaces regularly Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences, aftercare instructions, and any health concerns observed during the appointment Support team members with kennel cleaning, animal handling, and other animal care duties as needed Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of different coat types and breed standards Knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods to ensure safety for both pets and staff Background in veterinary-related fields such as veterinary technician experience or veterinary assistant experience is highly desirable Familiarity with pet care practices including pet sitting, animal handling, and heavy lifting of animals or supplies Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with pet owners and team members Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Physical stamina for standing long hours, lifting heavy objects or animals, and performing repetitive tasks Join us in creating a positive grooming experience that leaves pets happy and owners satisfied!
