Responsibilities Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments during bathing, grooming, and drying processes Perform thorough pet grooming including bathing, brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and coat trimming Use proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff during procedures Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and sanitize tools after each use to uphold hygiene standards Assist with pet care tasks such as feeding, walking, or administering basic veterinary-related care when needed Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs and services offered Support team members with kennel cleaning, animal handling, and other duties to ensure a smooth workflow Requirements Prior experience in pet grooming or dog handling is highly preferred Knowledge of animal handling techniques and restraint methods to ensure safety for pets and staff Experience working with animals in veterinary clinics or as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move animals or equipment safely Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Familiarity with pet training principles and veterinary procedures is advantageous Willingness to learn new skills related to animal care and grooming techniques This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about animals who want to grow their expertise in pet grooming, handling, and care.
