Overview Join our dynamic pet care team as a Dog Bather, where your passion for animals and dedication to excellent grooming will shine! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for providing top-quality bathing and grooming services to dogs of all breeds and sizes. Your attention to detail, animal handling skills, and friendly demeanor will ensure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and beautifully cared for. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a lively environment dedicated to pet wellness and happiness. Duties Safely handle dogs during bathing, grooming, and drying processes, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times Perform pet grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and de-shedding treatments Use animal restraint techniques effectively to keep pets calm and secure during grooming procedures Maintain a clean and organized grooming area by sanitizing tools and workspaces regularly Assist with basic dog training or behavioral cues to facilitate smooth grooming sessions Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs and pet care tips Qualifications Previous experience in pet grooming or dog handling is highly preferred Knowledge of animal handling techniques and restraint methods Experience working with animals in veterinary clinics, kennels, or pet sitting environments is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) safely due to bigger pets Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Passion for animals and commitment to providing compassionate care Join us in creating a positive experience for pets and their owners!
