Dog Bather

The Pampered Pet is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, quick learning, and team oriented individual to join our team. We are looking for someone who is looking for a career in the pet grooming industry. This individual would be trained first in drying, then bathing by our company. There is also a possibility for a future in grooming for this individual if we feel the fit is right. Duties:

• Bathe dogs according to specific instructions
• Perform basic grooming tasks such as brushing, blow drying, bathing
• Handle animals during bathing and blow drying
• Assist with other duties as assigned, such as cleaning kennels and bathing room

Skills:

• Animal handling: Ability to safely handle animals of various sizes and temperaments
• Dog handling: Experience working with dogs and understanding of their behavior
• Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and carry heavy dogs into tubs, kennels, and onto grooming tables About us: The Pampered Pet Grooming & Spa has been in business for 15+ years. We have won Tracy's Best of the Best over 18 years in a row and San Joaquin Counties Best of the Best in 2022.
